Bihar village orders boycott of rapist's family By Indo Asian News Service | IANS India Private Limited – 10 minutes ago Patna, April 20 (IANS) A village panchayat in Bihar Saturday ordered social boycott of family of Manoj Kumar, 25, who allegedly raped the five-year-old-girl in Delhi, police said. "The village panchayat has decided to socially boycott the family of Manoj and appealed to villagers to have no connection with them," a police official said. The decision of the social boycott was taken in a meeting of the panchayat, police said. Manoj who allegedly raped the girl after confining her in his Gandhi Nagar room in east Delhi, is from Bharthua village in Muzaffarpur. The panchayat requested people not to drink water, eat food and not to marry their son or daughter in his family.
