Tis guru ko simro saas saas, guru mere pran satguru meri raas.
Remember the Guru with each and every breath, The Guru is my breath of life, the True Guru is my wealth. ||1||Pause||

Gur ki raan nit bhajan karo, janam janam ki houmai mail har’o,
Day and Night sing praises of the Guru, The egotistical filth of countless incarnations is washed off. ||2||
Tis guru ko jhulawao paakhan, maha agann te, hath de raakha.
I wave the fan over the Guru, Giving me His Hand, He has saved me from the great fire. ||3||

I carry water for the Guru's household; from the Guru, I have learned the Way of the One Lord. ||4||
Tis guru ka ghreh pese-o neet, jis Prasad bairi sab meet.
I grind the corn for the Guru's household, By His Grace, all my enemies have become friends. ||5||

Jin guru moko deena deeyo, apna daas-ra apey mull liyo,
The Guru who gave me my soul, has Himself purchased me, and made me His slave. ||6||
Aape laayo apna piyar, sada sada tis gur ko kari namaskar.
He Himself has blessed me with His Love, Forever and ever, I humbly bow to the Guru. ||7||

Why I wear a Rose Quartz

Rose quartz is a type of quartz that exhibits a pale pink to rose red hue. The color is usually considered as due to trace amounts of titanium, iron, or manganese in the massive material. Some types of quartz contain microscopic rutile needles that produce an asterism in transmitted light. Recent X-ray diffraction studies suggest that the color is due to thin microscopic fibers of possibly dumortierite within the massive quartz. [15] In crystal form (rarely found) it is called pink quartz and its color is thought to be caused by trace amounts of phosphate or aluminium . The color in crystals is apparently photosensitive and subject to fading. The first crystals were found in a pegmatite found near Rumford, Maine, US, but most crystals on the market come from Minas Gerais, Brazil.
